PJ Gilligan's 1860's Dry Goods Store

Our Dietz lantern burns K-1 Kerosene or lamp oil. It is shielded from the wind and excellent for outdoor use! Our Glass Oil Lamp provides just the right indoor atmosphere hung on the wall as a sconce. We have all the oil lamp parts you need to build a lamp or to replace worn parts. We have fonts, burners, and chimneys.

 Time forgot this treasure located at Crampton’s Gap made famous by the Battle of South Mountain during the Civil War. Opened in 1821 and now frozen in the 1860’s, we offer products for use by Civil War Re-enactors, owners of period houses who want to create that authentic 1860’s look, and customers who just want a unique gift.

 Stop in and look around, but we’re only open 11-7pm on Saturdays and 12-7pm on Sundays. Better yet, place your by phone or email and we’ll arrange to send it to you with 1860’s care and 21st century speed!

We have a large collection of antique 19th century table sewing machines priced at $225 and portable machines as well!
